Vilcanota Massives Trek
There’s a Land were the people have not much contact with the Occidental tourist, the Indians still keep their own old ceremonies, wear their traditional clothes, chew coca leaves in the name of the mountain god (Apu), work the land with hand made tools and most of them don’t speak Spanish.
Shy but strong people that proudly will show you their hard way of life on the mountains.
This is one of the most impressive of Peru's mountain groups. Also called the ”Sacred Mountain Range”, with several 6000 m. peaks, including the sacred massive Nevado de Ausangate (6385 m). For the admiration that the Incas had regarding the mountains, This excellent trekking country provides the traveler everything you could desire, spectacular mountain scenery, snow-capped peaks, hot springs, turquoise lakes and glaciers. Additionally herds of llamas, alpacas, near quaint villages with traditionally dressed Indians capture a full range of impressions.
A team of mule drivers, pack handlers of donkeys and horses ensure that you only carry your needs for the day. We camp on grassy pastures and tranquil clearings, We spend the majority of the trek far from civilisation with very limited vehicle access. This experience however will make you forget the stresses of every day life.

Day 5. Sibinacocha – Harihuanaco.

Day 7. Singrenacocha – Resting Day.
Day 8. Singrenacocha – Pacchanta.
Day 9. Pacchanta – Ninaparayoq.
Day 10. Ninaparayoq – Machuracay (Ausangate base camp).
Day 11. Machuraccay – Moraine camp Ausangate.
