Ecuador Highlands and jungle
13 days program
Tour to visit the main tourist attraction of the highlands, combining cultural and natural aspect of this area. Afterwards will travel to explore the fabulous vegetation existing in the area of the Napo province, located in the heart of the rain forest.
Program :
Day 1. Arrival to Quito airport
Day 2. City tour
Day 3. Otavalo-Cotacahi Village and Cuicocha lake
Day 4. Visit Mojanda lakes to enjoy spectacular views
Day 5. Drive south to Latacunga town on the way visit Cotopaxi National Park.
Day 6. Visit Banos and Salasacas Indigenous community
Day 7. Free morning Banos. After lunch travel towards Puyo Town.
Day 8. The jungle along “Road of the waterfalls”. Morning drive towards Misahualli village located on the shores of Napo river.
Day 9. Explore primary rainforest and wildlife, canoe trip.
Day10. A nice trek into the deep vegetation of the primary rainforest. Visit indigenous community after dinner navigation looking for caimans lodge.
Day11. Departure from Misahualli back to Quito.
Day12. Free day in Quito
Day 13. Transfer to the Airport.
