Ancohuma
Ancohuma is the second highest peak in the Cordillera Real at the northern extremity of Bolivia, and offers some of the most difficult and rewarding climbs in this Country.
Program :
Day 1. From La Paz bus to Sorata 2500 m.
Day 2. A gradual ascent to Laguna Colani our firts camp. Donkies will carry our equipment.
Day 3. Porters will join us for the second day of trekking,cause the path becomes more difficult and Donkyes can not longer walk on the steep terrain.
Our second camp is on Laguna Glaciar, Ancohuma lies to the South.
Day 4. Climb to Camp I
Day 5. Summit climb of Ancohuma and descend to base camp.
Day 6. Descent allthe way back to Sorata.
Day 7. Return to La Paz.
